 School hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Students are asked to arrive no earlier than 8:40 a.m.
Latchkey Hours: school day mornings 6:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and school day afternoons 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m.  Latchkey may be contacted at 269-3002.  Please leave a message if you do not call during latchkey hours.

Attention Parents
  • New Student Orientation is on Friday, August 20.  There will be two sessions 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm.  A flier for the event can be found on the newsletter and printable forms page. 
  • 2010-2011 Classroom Assignments will be posted on the front doors of the school at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 18.
  • 2010-2011 Bus Schedules will be mailed out August 18.  Please call the Edison office if you have not received a bus pass by August 23.  If changes occur during the school year with your child's transportation needs, please inform us in writing.
  • Sign up to receive school news via email!  Just go to our new district home page at www.weschools.org and click the link at the left labeled "Subscribe to School News." 
  • 2010-2011 supply lists can be found on the School Supply page or for printable copy  go to the bottom of the Newsletters and Printable Files page.
  • Edison Important Dates for the 2010-2011 school year have been updated on the calendar page.  (New student orientation, Meet the Teacher or Stop and Drop supply nights)
  • Summer Reading Bingo Cards at the bottom of the Newsletters and Printable Files  page.  In order to maintain reading skills gained during the school year, it is imperative that students have a “Daily Dose of Reading” while away from school during the summer. Edison  school is  encouraging reading this summer with our Summer Bingo Card.The card gives an array of 24 reading activities appropriate for each grade level.  Each child needs to read the books listed on the card (or an alternative), record the titles on the back of the card and have their parent initial it.  An ice cream treat reward will be given in September to all children who complete their bingo card.  Willoughby-Eastlake and Wickliffe Libraries will be familiar with the titles to help your child find appropriate books.  These books will also count for the library reading program.  Happy summer reading!
