School hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Students are asked to arrive no earlier than 8:40 a.m. Latchkey Hours: school day mornings 6:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and school day afternoons 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. for the cost of $2.50 an hour . Latchkey may be contacted at 269-3002. Please leave a message if you do not call during latchkey hours. Edison Elementary Rates "Excellent " for the 2010 -2011 school year.Congratulations Edison Elementary School for receiving an “Excellent with Distinction” rating from the Ohio Department of Education. This is the highest rating a school/school district can obtain. The Excellent with Distinction designation recognizes high-performing districts and schools that continue to not only meet federal and state achievement standards, but go beyond expectations for student learning over a year’s time. Edison students, teachers, and staff should be recognized for a well deserved A+ rating from the State of Ohio! |

- PBS (Postive Behavior Support) Edison is instating a new behavior system this year. For more information as well as the student pledge that all students say each morning. Click on PBS on the left hand side of the pages to find out more about the program. Videos will be added later in the year.

Just go to our new district home page at www.weschools.org and click the link at the left labeled "Subscribe to School News." - Optional Insurance - In previous years, students received a handout on the first day of school for the optional "Love Insurance" student coverage. This year we have gone "paperless" and parents can click above to see the brochure.
