Mr. Keller is beginning his 11th year as Principal at
Willoughby Middle School and 27th in public education. A 1976 graduate of Case
Western Reserve University, Mr. Keller earned his Masters Degree from John
Carroll University. His teaching and coaching career includes time at Cleveland
Heights High School, Independence High School, Fairview High School and High
Point Central High School in North Carolina. Mr. Keller also spent four years
as the Assistant Principal at Fairview High School before joining the
Willoughby-Eastlake School District in 2006.
Mr. Keller is married and has four children and two
grandchildren. During time away from school, Mr. Keller enjoys spending time with his family,
playing the guitar and performing locally, watching high school and college
football, reading, working in his yard, and taking his 2002 Mustang GT to car
As an educator I want Willoughby Middle School to model a
climate of purpose-driven behavior where high expectations and above the line
performance are the expectation for both students and staff.
