Mr. Keller


Mr. Keller is beginning his tenth year as Principal at Willoughby Middle School and 26th in public education. A 1976 graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Mr. Keller earned his Masters Degree from John Carroll University.  His teaching and coaching career includes time at Cleveland Heights High School, Independence High School, Fairview High School and High Point Central High School in North Carolina.  Mr. Keller also spent four years as the Assistant Principal at Fairview High School before joining the Willoughby-Eastlake School District in 2006.   

A past President of the Greater Cleveland Football Coaches Association (2003-2004), Mr. Keller is beginning his 18th year as a member of this service organization dedicated to promoting high school football in greater Cleveland.

Mr. Keller is married and has two sons, Matt and Dan, a step-son, Wayne, a daughter, Lauren and two grandchildren.   During time away from school, Mr. Keller enjoys spending time with his family, high school and college football, playing the guitar and performing locally, reading, yard work and driving his 2002 Mustang GT.

As an educator and public school administrator I believe in creating a climate of high expectations for students and staff and empowering teachers, students and parents on behalf of the school’s mission to assume leadership responsibilities.
