South High School Nationally Ranked Bronze by US News and World Report



SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL NATIONALLY RANKED BRONZE BY US NEWS AND WORLD REPORT

South High was recently ranked bronze by U.S. News and World Report.  The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.

At South High School, students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® course work and exams. The AP® participation rate at South High School is 23 percent.

The student body makeup is 51 percent male and 49 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 13 percent.

South was one of 3,500 schools nationally to win this award.  Congratulations South High students and staff!
