School Produce Market

Volunteers with produce for distribution

The school district appreciates the partnership with the Cleveland Food Bank to operate a free, monthly produce distribution for the community. Once a month, any community member may visit the drive up produce market and take home a box for their family. The first market was held in September and 8,000 pounds of food was provided to families. Food is distributed while it lasts. If any food remains, it is provided to the Salvation Army in Painesville. The schedule for the markets is posted on the Community page. Thank you to our sponsors, Heinen's, Laketran, and the United Way of Lake County. Numerous volunteers make this possible each month. We were fortunate that Dana Wolfe, the Executive Director of the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce and Dione DeMitro, President and CEO of the United Way, joined us for our first market.
