  On May 8th, Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools will be on the ballot. This levy was originally passed in 2003, and has been renewed every 5 years since that time.

Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools is pleased to announce a new online system for new student registration and for returning students’ annual update of information, powered by InfoSnap. The system is a secure site which offers parents the ability to complete many paper forms online and will diminish the need to rewrite the same information on multiple forms. Camp Invention will be held at School of Innovation this summer. Camp Invention is a week-long summer enrichment program using a STEM curriculum. Bus Tracker
 As we seek to effectively communication with families, we wanted to share some exciting news with those that use district-provided bus service. Our school bus partner, Petermann has developed a phone and web browser application that will allow parents and guardians to securely view the location of all of their child(ren)’s bus locations in relationship to their assigned bus stop.

District Communication - A Letter From Superintendent Thompson
  Dear Families,
I have had several questions regarding the timeline for communication during an emergency and a lockdown in our schools.  By following the "Read More" link below you will find a letter outlining the general timeline of events in our school buildings when we are instructed to lockdown.  By sharing this timeline, I am hopeful that your anxiety will be lessened when you are not immediately notified, should you hear a school has gone into lockdown.

 The traffic patterns at Longfellow, Willowick Middle and Royalview have changed.  Please be cautious as your children return to school.  Thank you. 
 
Project Updates

The Willoughby-Eastlake construction projects scheduled for the summer of 2017 are on time and on budget.  During the month of February, the district completed the process of collaborating to identify and select a construction manager at risk (CMR), chosen from multiple applicants.
