Hello Jefferson Families,
We are excited for the 2023-2024 school year to begin!
Please take some time to check out our Welcome Back Packet HERE which is full of important information for the school year.
We are happy to welcome Mrs. Courtney Lausin as our shared Assistant Principal this school year! We wish Mrs. Pasquale well as she takes over as the Principal of Longfellow Elementary.
Plan to fill out the Daily Dismissal Form HERE for every child you have at Jefferson as soon as possible.
Our District is 1:1 with Chromebook devices for every student! Please review the Chromebook Handbook HERE. Students in grades K-2 will keep their devices at school and students in grades 3-5 will take them back and forth between school and home each day.
Our school office now has its own email address [email protected] that you can utilize instead of sending in paper notes with your child.
Having conversations with your child to review school expectations can be very beneficial. HERE are the expectations for the different areas of our school. If you are looking for a back to school family activity try choosing two areas to discuss with your child. Ask them how they show "PRIDE" in those areas. You can also see if your child remembers our "PRIDE Promise"!
Start Dates
The First Day of School for students in Grades 1-5 is August 21st.
If you have a kindergarten student, please refer to the letter that was mailed home earlier this summer regarding your child’s start date.

Kindergarten Orientation- Jefferson Elementary at 10 AM on August 16th
New Student Orientation- Jefferson Elementary at 1 PM on August 16th (for students in Grades 1-5 that are new to Jefferson Elementary)
Back to School Picnic- Jefferson Elementary at 5 PM on August 17th
Meet the Teacher & Supply Drop-Off for Grades 1-5 Only- Jefferson Elementary at 6 PM on August 17th

Bus Information & Teacher Assignments
It is important that you know your Parent Portal Login, as this will allow you to view your child's teacher and bus route information.
If you do not know your Parent Portal Login, please complete THIS FORM and we will email your login information to you on Monday.
Families will be able to view their child's teacher(s) in the Parent Portal Today, Friday, August 11th at 4 PM.
Student bus routes are not mailed home. Parents and students will be able to view bus information beginning August 14th in the Parent and Student Portals by opening the transportation link at the bottom of the menu. At this time the Portal Phone App does not currently support this feature, so please view bus information by logging into your Portal Account account through a web browser on a phone or computer.
