Board of Education Vacancy

The Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools Board of Education seeks applicants to fill the partially unexpired term of board member Mr. Ryan DiFranco, who resigned on July 11, 2024.
 

The Board will begin interviewing candidates after the application deadline of July 19, 2024 and must name a replacement within 30 days of the resignation. The newly appointed member will serve until December 31, 2025. If the appointed member desires to continue serving, he or she must run in the next general election.
 

Those interested in serving on the Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools Board of Education must complete an application and email it to Mr. Nicholas Ciarniello, Treasurer/CFO at [email protected]. All applications must be completed and submitted by July 19, 2024 at 8 a.m. The application is available via this APPLICATION LINK. 

According to Ohio law, people serving on Ohio school boards must be at least 18 years old, district residents and registered voters. 

Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools serves students living in Eastlake, Timberlake, Lakeline, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, Willowick and Waite Hill.
