Playhouse Square Announces Dazzle Awards
The Playhouse Square Dazzle Award Nominees have been announced and students from Willoughby South High have been named in the following categories: Best Student Orchestra, Best Scenic Design, Best Technical Execution, Best Costume Design, Best Choreography Execution, Best Ensemble/Chorus and The Connor Family Best Musical (Tier 1). All of the nominations were for the recent performance at South High, The Addams Family.
The Playhouse Square, in an affiliation with the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, aim to inspire and recognize the importance of musical theater and arts education in Northeast Ohio Schools with these awards. In each of the thirteen categories, the top five high schools are chosen from the nineteen participating schools. The winners in each category will be announced on May 21, 2016.
