Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The school district recently received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association. The GFOA Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. It represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management in maintaining the highest financial transparency and accountability standards. This is a testament to the work of treasurer Nicholas Ciarniello and his team. The Award of Financial Reporting Achievement for the treasurer signifies a commitment to financial stewardship, integrity and dedication to fiscal management on behalf of the  taxpayers.
