About Us

Thomas Edison Elementary is one of five elementary buildings in the Willoughby-Eastlake School District. We are located on five acre complex with many surrounding trees in the Ridge Acres area nestled between State Routes 20 and 84 in Willoughby, Ohio. The school was built in 1962 and currently has an enrollment of approximately 550 students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Our district is located in Northeastern Ohio, about 20 miles east of Cleveland on the shores of Lake Erie. It serves more than 8,000 young people coming from seven separate municipalities: Eastlake, Lakeline, Timberlake, Waite Hill, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, and Willowick.
