PTA sponsors programs, presentations, awards & field trip transportation for Longfellow Elementary School. We are fully funded by fundraisers and PTA memberships. Your $10 membership dues will help to support Longfellow Elementary School. Your membership alone will give us a bigger voice in our school and community! We would love for you to join us at our next meeting and see all the amazing things Longfellow PTA has to offer!

Keep in mind that anyone can join the PTA! Anyone that has an interest in making our children's potential a reality can join the PTA and make it possible.

Q1. Is a membership for each family?

A1: No, membership is for each adult person.

 

Q2: What happens if I have 2 children in different classes?

A2: As long as all teachers are listed on the membership form, those classes will receive credit.

 

Q3: I am not able to volunteer, why should I join?

A3: Your membership dues help to support various programs, presentations and awards, give you the opportunity to vote at PTA meetings and show your child that you are involved in their education.

 

Q4: Do I have to attend any or all of the PTA meetings? 

A4: No, we all know how demanding everyone's schedules are so we completely understand. If you are able to make a meeting or have an idea to bring to the table and hear what is going on, please come. We do hold an election at the May meeting to vote on board members for the following year. In order to vote you must be present. Each vote matters. We will connect with all members via email on what is happening in the PTA each month.
