Longfellow has worked very hard this year on building up our Tier II and Tier III supports for our students through our PBIS program. We have incorporated Tier II social skills groups, individual lunch groups, as well as a larger lunch bunch with the principal. Our social skills groups are being run by our intervention specialists as well as our school psychologist. Our individual lunch groups are working with our family liaison. We have supported over 60 students with our Tier II supports throughout the year. Our Tier III check in and check out system has been a huge help to some of our students. The check in and check outs are run by our encore teachers as well as the family liaison, even our plant supervisor has joined the team. Our check in and check outs as well as our behavior intervention plans have positively affected 15 students this past school year. We are very excited and proud to be going for the Gold level award for our PBIS integration this year.
